Holy moly, is it Friday already?! This has been the longest shortest week of my life. Frankly, I’m not really sure which at this point. But I do know my husband has a short work day on Saturdays, and then he’s home on Sundays. Hallelujah!
Little Bee has been a busy bee learning how to walk. She cruises around on the walker outside, and inside is a furniture walking pro. I took both kids to the sprayground the other day and had to walk holding Bee’s hands. Talk about backache. Can’t wait for her to stand on her own two feet! I admit, though, I will miss having to carry her around everywhere. She’s so damn cute. I can’t even stand it.
With her newfound walking abilities, however, has come a wide array of whining tones. Can I get an “oy vey?” Between her ear piercing pitches, and Boo’s horrific imitation of dinosaur roaring, by the time 4:00 pm rolls around, I’m read to clock out. Can’t wait for the weekend… Oh, honey!!! Did you hear the children…?
Not it!!!
This week’s guest post about running, work, life, and balancing it all is brought to you by Vanessa! She’s a busy lady, too. Let’s read!

What are you training for?
Currently training for my second half marathon on August 31st. It will be the Rock and Roll 1/2 in Virginia beach! Learning to adjust to running outside, and also restarting training cause of a small foot injury.
How do you balance your training with family time? With work?
Balancing is always hard, I have a full time job, 3 kids, military husband, so balance in life is just difficult! I always readjust my training based on the week and what we have going on. I refuse to “miss” my family life just because im training. It also helps that my husband is training as well, so we tend to take turns in the time that we run!
Who is your biggest supporter?
My husband and my friends are my biggest supporters!
