Berry Hemp Vinaigrette with Receptra Naturals

August 9, 2017

Hemp has long been recognized as an incredible, renewable resource. It can be eaten and used in body care products. Clothing, paper, and construction materials are often made from hemp. Even plastics and biofuels are produced from hemp fibers and stalks. If you don’t know much about hemp, I encourage you to learn more about it. It’s an extremely versatile plant with so much to offer.

I’ve been a proponent of hemp for decades. In grade school, I weaved necklaces, bracelets, belts, and even purses out of hemp. Nowadays, I wear hemp clothing and eat hemp seeds almost daily on salads and in smoothies.

Hemp CBD Oil for Inflammation and an Active Lifestyle

In late 2016, I was diagnosed with a chronic, inflammatory disease. I’ve gone through phases of eating well, exercising, and keeping the inflammation down. But every now and again the inflammation rears its ugly head and, as a result, makes my life miserable. The limited research I previously have done on home remedies for inflammation didn’t yield much. Low sugar diet, high omega 3 fatty acids, tart cherries, extra virgin olive oil… things like that. I never came across hemp CBD oil until recently when I discovered pure CBD oil from Receptra Naturals.

What is hemp CBD oil?

CBD stands for cannabidoil. It’s a non-psychoactive oil — meaning it’s from a type of cannabinoid that doesn’t cause the “high” like that of marijuana. Some people use hemp CBD oil to reduce inflammation and relieve chronic pain. Others use it to relieve muscle soreness or fatigue. As an autoimmune, inflammatory disease sufferer and an athlete, CBD oil definitely piqued my interest.

Please note: I’m not a doctor nor am I suggesting hemp CBD oil will cure all that ails me.

I’ve incorporated Receptra Naturals Active Hemp CBD oil into my every day routine. I take it during meal times or with other foods, but the oil can be ingested directly under the tongue. The berry flavor is delicious for just that purpose.

As you could imagine, I couldn’t let the opportunity to create a new recipe pass me by. I recently created a simple recipe for salad dressing with Receptra Naturals Active Hemp CBD oil! I make a salad full of farm-fresh ingredients to get the most bang for my nutritional buck. A yummy salad coupled with the sweet taste of a berry vinaigrette is a true winner.

I’ve never heard of this before but now I am very intrigued. I’m always on the hunt for anti-inflammatory products. I love how you incorporated it into a salad dressing!

Hemp seeds are great on salads! I always have a stash in my fridge. My mom was just asking me the other day about CBD gum. My aunt has chronic back pain and heard about this. So, have you had good results using the CBD oil? Does it help with pain?

I’ve never heard of CBD gum. Interesting!

I can’t say if I’m having good results yet since I’ve only had it for about two weeks. But from all the anecdotal evidence I’ve been reading, all signs point to yes — it helps with inflammation, pain, and soreness. I need to clean up my eating a bit more and then I think I’ll notice the benefits the most.

I enjoy hemp seeds but haven’t heard of hemp oil. I have been making my own salad dressing lately and they are SO much better than any bottle!

They are SO much better than the bottle. And it’s so easy to manipulate the spices so you get a different flavor each time!

I drank CBD oil cold pressed coffee once and it made me feel super relaxed and chill. I liked it. I was just a very mellow GiGi. I need to get more into the CBD oil stuff 😉

My husband loves CBD oil for both pain relief and insomnia. I tried it once and I was awake needing to pee probably every hour, all night long – idk what was up. My body can be super reactive to almost anything.
