I’m totally, 100% completely exhausted.

January 23, 2015
I’m totally, 100% completely exhausted. I had a tough run on Thursday and my legs felt like lead. Then while I was driving, I started to feel woozy, like I was drunk. Only I wasn’t drunk, I was tired. I’m starting to think I need to get to bed earlier than when I have been.
Oh, marathon training. People warned me about you! But alas, I was clueless. And unfortunately I don’t think I can even comprehend what’s in store for me since I’m only on week 2 of training. Goo!
Want to know something totally ironic? While I’m typing up this post, this article came across my Facebook feed in one of my groups. For real? This guy is looney — trying to run seven marathons back to back in seven days. Show off. I’m so tired and I ran a measly 11 miles this week. Ha!
I’m totally grateful for rest day. I’m going to clear my mind, do a whole bunch of not running, and hopefully be nice and refreshed for my long run on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will be nice, too. And by nice, I mean warmer than 7˚ because that was just brutal.
Since exhaustion and adversity is on my mind, I thought I’d dig up some of my favorite quotes and memes to put things into perspective. Happy Friday! Enjoy.

Not yet! But yeah…
Have a great weekend!
xo

What’s your favorite from above, and why?
Plans for the weekend?
