Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I know many of you will be busy cooking and baking today in preparation for the feast on Thursday. I’ll be making pecan pie minus the corn syrup, a chocolate torte cake that has been in my family for generations, and a sweet potato crunch casserole that I have adopted from my mother-in-law. I’m really looking forward to all of the yumminess.
It’s product review day! I know it’s been a while since I last did a review and I apologize. I hope you find this review particularly helpful now that the weather has taken a turn for the worst. Brrrr!
Today I’ll be reviewing the Under Armour ColdGear Cozy Crew. The UA Cozy Crew has a great brushed fleece interior which traps heat, while the outer portion is quick-drying. This shirt wicks away your sweat and keeps you warm and dry.
Some other features and benefits about this versatile shirt:
- 4-way stretch construction improves mobility and maintains shape
- Rolled forward side seams create a slimmer, flattering silhouette
- Raglan sleeves unlock mobility for range of motion
- Thumbholes keep sleeves secure and help seal in body heat
While I use this shirt for running, it is very usable for any outdoor sport. Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and ice skating are all great sports to wear this shirt.
I own the Cozy Crew in black and a sky blue. I prefer the black because it is a much nicer looking silhouette, but I’m glad I have the sky blue for visibility on those gray/darker mornings when I’m running in the wee hours.
The price of the Cozy Crew is a bit hefty, coming in at $49.99 on the Under Armour website, but there are lots of places you can find it for less and if you have coupons to a larger sporting goods retailer, you’ll be able to take it home for considerably lower than $50.
This shirt is soft and comfortable. It keeps me warm and dry, and the fit is perfect. It’s long enough to cover my bum on the cold days, and the extra length in the sleeves helps to keep my hands warm, too. It has quickly moved to the top of my favorite running apparel items list!
Bottom line — would I recommend the UA Cozy Crew to a friend? For sure. And I have. And she’s recommended other UA ColdGear items to me as well!
Whoop!
