Our Favorite Foods and Why We Love Them!

August 19, 2014
Today’s post is brought to you by the letter A, and the number 18. Sound anything like Sesame Street?
That’s because today’s entry is a joint effort between my almost five year old and me! I started asking him what his favorite foods were, and it became a fun game. It snowballed into a list of our (his) top 10 favorite foods, and why we (he) loves them!
Note: If the description says “I” it’s an entry that applies more than 50% to him. If it says we it’s because we both like it equally. 🙂

Our Favorite Foods and Why We Love Them!

1. Chick fil A — I love chicken nuggets and french fries. (He tried to sneak this one in there twice.)

2. Beets — We love them because they’re red and tasty.

Beets!

3. Peanut butter and jelly — I love it because it’s a sandwich.

4. Swiss chard quiche — We love it because it has eggs and cheese!

5. Red peppers — We love them because they’re red and they taste really yummy, and they’re really sweet.

6. Pineapple — It’s sweet and has a lot of juice!

7. Cantaloupe — It’s sweet and has a lot of juice!

8. Mud tacos (aka refried beans) — We love them because they have ‘mud’ beans, and they’re so sticky and yummy.

9. Yogurt — We love yogurt because it’s delicious and sweet.

10. Fish — it’s meat and I like eating meat. (Mama likes fish because it has omega 3’s!)

What are some of your favorite foods?

Have a great day, friends!
