iTunes? No tunes.

March 20, 2014
I’m just going to put this out there. I hate iTunes. There.
I am an avid Mac lover. I don’t really like my iPhone all that much, but I am obsessed with my MacBook Pro, and I would never consider owning anything else. But iTunes, you are flawed and it’s not cool.
I use my iPhone to run with and have therefore purchased most of my songs on there and created my playlists on it. Unfortunately it’s slightly burdensome to wear around my arm, so I would rather run with an iPod which is less than half the weight and bulk of the iPhone.
Anyways. So the problem (for me) is going from iPhone to Mac to iPod. Really? It should not be that hard. I’m not a stupid person, and neither is my husband, but it is seriously one of the most annoying events of all time. Fine, I may be exaggerating just a touch, but if Apple really wanted to go above and beyond, they would make this transfer seamless and easy.
Only time will tell which device I will be running with come race day. If I can’t figure out a somewhat cohesive way to move music around I might just be stuck with… *gasp*…. no music at all! God forbid.
While I’m here, I should throw in that I’m FREAKING OUT about my race on Saturday. I was doing fine, ran my three miles this morning, and then one of my friends just posted about being excited for the race, and it got me all in a tizzy again. Like, minor panic attack tizzy. Gah!
Just for kicks, here’s a #tbt pic for your viewing pleasure.

This was taken after my first 5k — the one when I was dry heaving in the bushes after (link to that story here). That’s me: #3540. W00t!

Hope y’all are having an awesome Thursday! Back to my mindless task of trying to figure out iTunes.
