As you may have seen on my social media lately, I’ve been #OnAQuest for delicious, protein-packed, and fiber rich protein bars. Well, I found them. And I created an amazing new recipe, too. But first, let me tell you about Quest Bar!

I hit up my local Target in search of Quest Protein Bars. With amazing flavors like chocolate chip cookie dough, white chocolate raspberry, and mint chocolate chunk, I knew I would love these protein bars and I had to have them. There are a ton of flavor options — check them out here!
I stood at an endcap near the pharmacy of my local Target and waffled between White Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Brownie, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chunk. I ultimately chose Cookies and Cream and Mint Chocolate Chunk because… well, how could I not, right? I’m so glad those are the flavors I picked because they are to die for — like a healthy version of dessert!
Each bar contains:
- 20+ grams of protein
- 4-7 carbs
- 170-210 calories
- 13-15 grams of fiber (!!!!)
- no added sugar
Quest Bars use sucralose, stevia, and erythritol as sweeteners instead of sugar. They have little to no effect on blood sugar which is great because that means there’s no spike and crash like I experienced with some other protein bars. Quest Bars are also soy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian-friendly.
After I devoured a bar (or two), I got busy in the kitchen. I must say, the recipe I created is one of my all time favorite shake recipes. (And you know how much I love my shakes and smoothies!)
Quest Bar Mint Chocolate Chunk Dessert Shake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C almond milk (or your liquid of choice)
- 1/4-1/2 C plain Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 Mint Chocolate Chunk Quest Bar, chopped and divided
Directions
Pour almond milk, yogurt, cocoa powder, honey and two thirds of the chopped Quest Bar into a blender cup. Pulse to combine. Ensure all ingredients are mixed uniformly. Add a little water if the mixture is too thick.
After the shake is combined, pour into a glass and sprinkle the top with the remaining Quest Bar pieces. Sip and enjoy!
For me, the best part of this shake isn’t that it tastes like mint chocolate — I mean, that is a bonus, of course. But the best part is that it packs a crazy nutritional punch. I can enjoy it after a hard workout and not feel one ounce of guilt. It’s packed with protein and fiber, and I never get a sugar spike from Quest Bars.
Visit your local Target and pick up a box of Quest Protein Bars and see for yourself! After you enjoy a bar or two, I highly recommend trying them in a shake.
