The End of the Road

May 5, 2010
It’s been fun, blogger.com, but I think we’re going to need to end our relationship here.
It seems that people get really offended when I use you as a personal diary. I don’t have many close friends that I can share with so I decided to use you, but it’s not working out so well. I don’t like having to explain my posts to my readers. I usually self-censor but it’s getting tiresome.
I self-censor on Facebook all the time. It’s such a shame that we have to do this in order to keep the peace. I noticed that most of the time I’m self-censoring, it’s for the sake of family. Maybe I should just “unfriend” them? I wonder what kind of shenanigans and angry emails that would elicit. I would definitely have to explain myself then.
But I know better than to talk negatively about people behind their backs. Or on blogger.com or Facebook. I’ll do a better job and keep things to myself. When I need to vent, I’ll revert back to venting to my husband.
So for now, blogger.com, we’ll just have to remain acquaintances and keep our conversations to a minimum.
