Product Review: Momentum Footnotes

May 21, 2014
Look at this pretty little package I received from Momentum.

Remember when I reviewed the Motivate Wrap bracelet? That review was fun. This review was more fun. Today I’m reviewing Footnotes!
Sure it’s cool to wear a motivational saying on your wrist (and I still wear my wrap bracelet daily, by the way), but it’s empowering and exhilarating to see “Beast Mode” on your feet while you’re pounding the pavement.
I didn’t wear these bad boys for my half marathon. I am one of those uber paranoid people who won’t try anything, and I meant anything, new on (or in the vicinity of) race day. But now that race day is over, I will wear them with reckless abandon!
I admit, putting them on my shoes was kind of a pain in the ass. So much so that I almost gave up. I’m a Type A personality, and I’ve never touched the laces on any of my running shoes since bringing them home from the store. I won’t mess with perfection. And the right running shoes are perfection, laces and all. When I started unlacing (eek!) I had a little shiver of panic. But I settled down, unlaced, relaced, and bam… this is the glory that unfolded before my eyes…
Now that they’re on, they’re staying put for quite some time. Not only because I’m crazy and don’t want to unlace my shoes again, but because they are motivating, empowering, and FUN! How badass is it to workout or run with “Beast Mode” on your toes? If you thought you were badass before, add some of these to your feet and you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world.
Bottom line — would I recommend Footnotes to a friend? Totes. Would I purchase them as a gift for someone. Most definitely. Even after the annoyance of unlacing my shoes, I’m super happy I put them on.
Beast Mode: ON!

Special thanks to Amy at Momentum for supplying me with these awesome Footnotes for wear and review. And although they were given to me, this review (and all reviews) is my own and reflects my own opinions.
And don’t forget, as a special thank you from Momentum, if you enter GGS158 at checkout, you will receive 15% off your order at www.designsthatmoveyou.com.
