2014 is quickly coming to a close. And what a year it’s been.
I’ve had some ups and downs — thankfully mostly ups.
Here’s my year in review…

What do I have planned for 2015? I’ll be running
my first full marathon in May. 26.2 miles. I’m
scared, excited, confident, nervous, and every
emotion in between. I have no time goal and zero expectations. My only goal is to finish.

I plan on lowering my mileage goal because 1,000 was hard for me to hit but I may adjust partway through the year depending on how my training goes.
I’ll be turning 35 in 2015 and I’m hoping to run a
big race in celebration. Stay tuned for that. Maybe we’ll have a big party together in Vegas. 😉

I don’t know where else 2015 will take me but I’m really looking forward to seeing what the future holds. 2014 proved to be a phenomenal year and I’m grateful for every opportunity that presented itself, and all of the incredible friendships that blossomed through races, encouragement, and travel.
Fare thee well, 2014. You’ve been good to me.
