This week has been full of ups and downs. Not one minute would I be having a terrible, no good, awful day when suddenly I was on Cloud-9. I would truly be in a sour mood and throwing an adult-sized, child-style temper tantrum when the next thing I knew I would be running around the house screaming with excitement!
Here are five emotional and crazy awesome things that happened this week to wreak such havoc on my mental state:
Running with the Marines, Orange Mud + 3 Other Crazy Things!
1. Come October, I’ll be RUNNING WITH THE MARINES!
I can’t believe it. I got in to the 41st Marine Corps Marathon!! I’ve had MCM on my wish list for as long as I can remember. I can’t even say “bucket list” because it was never a bucket list thing. It was always a hope, a dream, a wish. I have so much more to say about this but for now, SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!
2. I became an Orange Mud Am-BADASS-ador!
Another amazing opportunity that I’ve coveted for FOREVER! When I first got my Orange Mud HydraQuiver, I had a hard time figuring out the adjustments to avoid getting it tangled in my hair. But now that I know how to fit it perfectly on my back, I loooooooove it. I’ll be running with it through marathon training this summer. I’m honored to rep such an awesome, grassroots brand. If you’ve never heard of Orange Mud, or want to place an order, check it out here!
3. I ordered business cards and they never came.
I paid more for shipping for a rush order. I was so annoyed. Grrr. Thankfully the company I ordered through was amazing and they refunded my purchase without question. I’m sure it has something to do with me being a customer for 6+ years. Even so, it was a nice gesture and I appreciated the customer service.
4. My business cards arrived!
SERIOUSLY!? Well, it is what it is. I’m happy I have my cards now. Aren’t they so pretty? I love my No Excuses Running business cards!
Check out the back!
5. And finally — I LOVE my puppy. And I HATE my puppy.
This little girl has no idea how many times I’ve threatened to take her back to the shelter. Because seriously. I can only clean up so much pee and poop, especially when she squats 30 seconds after being outside for 20 minutes! Or when she looks right at me and lays a turd. Gah!!!
But she’s so cute. I love her.
It was a crazy, crazy week. I’m so exhausted. Too many emotions for one week, people! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday!
