Alternative Workouts For When You Just Don’t Feel Like Running [Guest Post]

Happy Hump Day! Today fellow SweatPink Ambassador, Jessica, is guest blogging for me. She’s a trainer and wellness coach, and she’s here to talk about alternative workouts for days when you just don’t feel like running.

Hey everyone! I am Jessica from My Healthy Passion! Stop by sometime to see whats up, I’d love to have you!! I am so excited to be a guest blogger for Rachel!
I wanted to share a workout with y’all for days when you just don’t feel like running or when your body needs a break from your traditional workout! Sometimes our bodies just crave something new. Right? It is so important to do various types of exercises and not constantly do the same ones. Our bodies love the challenge! So bring it on…

First up, is a core crusher workout! I am not a fan of abdominal exercises.  I never have been.  But as a trainer and wellness coach, I know the importance of a strong core.  When I put core workouts together, and think of it as a routine (non-stop moving), I can push through rather than individual exercises.  I can’t be the only one who doesn’t enjoy core workouts… Maybe I am! But this one, ladies and gents, I think you’ll like it! All of these exercises are basic AB movements, but when paired together, it’s a killer! I normally do this routine two or three times when I really want to push!!

You’ll be feeling it in the AM! 
And last, but definitely not least, I wanted to share a fun workout I created for “Back to School, Back to Fitness.” Kids all over are heading back to school, and it’s a busy time of year for adults, too! I feel like we are programmed to get back into routines and the swing of things come September!  And… we may have to get back into the routine of our fitness routines! (I know I do!!!)  I love this workout and find that it goes by quickly! It changes things up and your muscles will be challenged!!!! It truly is an all over body workout!
