Today is the Friday Five 2.0 linkup and Runfessions! Join me for Runfessions Thanksgiving Style.
Happy post-Thanksgiving! Welcome back to the Friday Five 2.0 — Thanksgiving Style! Today I’m also linking up with Marcia for Runfessions.
Before we begin, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with friends and family. My time with family was too short, of course.
Let’s runfess, shall we?
Did you try my Turkey Burner Workout? What did you think??

I runfess…
I wish I had more time with family.
Today’s post will be short and sweet since today is travel day for me. I runfess I’m sad we’re flying out on Friday. We spent Sunday through Tuesday with my nephews and dad, and finally saw the rest of my family on Wednesday and Thursday. I really wish we had more time with everyone.
My motivation didn’t increase while in the sunshine.
I had really good intentions of running in the sunshine while in AZ. Unfortunately it didn’t happen. It was a perfect storm of why I didn’t and why my motivation waned but I won’t dwell on it. I’ll just have to get back work in Cleveland.
Runfessions — Thanksgiving Style
There are zero racing plans for 2018.
Maybe it’s because I’m still recovering from my ten months worth of training. Perhaps it’s because we had major construction done on our house just before Thanksgiving. Or it’s because I’ve been busy spending time with my family. Whatever it is, I’ve had literally no time (or desire) to think about or plan for 2018. And I’m oddly okay with that.
Blogging is a lot of work.
Having said that, I do have some stuff in the works for 2018 and it’s going to take a lot of time to get there. Blogging is a ton of work. I love doing it and I love the blogging community. But I might have to drop a day here and there along the way so I have time to pursue what’s on the horizon. We’ll see how it all shakes out.
