As you may have seen on my social media lately, I’ve been #OnAQuest for delicious, protein-packed, and fiber rich protein bars. Well, I found them. And I created an amazing new recipe, too. But first, let me tell you about Quest Bar!
Sponsored Post: This post is sponsored by Quest Nutrition but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
I hit up my local Target in search of Quest Protein Bars. With amazing flavors like chocolate chip cookie dough, white chocolate raspberry, and mint chocolate chunk, I knew I would love these protein bars and I had to have them. There are a ton of flavor options — check them out here!
I stood at an endcap near the pharmacy of my local Target and waffled between White Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Brownie, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chunk. I ultimately chose Cookies and Cream and Mint Chocolate Chunk because… well, how could I not, right? I’m so glad those are the flavors I picked because they are to die for — like a healthy version of dessert!
Each bar contains:
- 20+ grams of protein
- 4-7 carbs
- 170-210 calories
- 13-15 grams of fiber (!!!!)
- no added sugar
Quest Bars use sucralose, stevia, and erythritol as sweeteners instead of sugar. They have little to no effect on blood sugar which is great because that means there’s no spike and crash like I experienced with some other protein bars. Quest Bars are also soy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian-friendly.
After I devoured a bar (or two), I got busy in the kitchen. I must say, the recipe I created is one of my all time favorite shake recipes. (And you know how much I love my shakes and smoothies!)
Quest Bar Mint Chocolate Chunk Dessert Shake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C almond milk (or your liquid of choice)
- 1/4-1/2 C plain Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 Mint Chocolate Chunk Quest Bar, chopped and divided
Directions
Pour almond milk, yogurt, cocoa powder, honey and two thirds of the chopped Quest Bar into a blender cup. Pulse to combine. Ensure all ingredients are mixed uniformly. Add a little water if the mixture is too thick.
After the shake is combined, pour into a glass and sprinkle the top with the remaining Quest Bar pieces. Sip and enjoy!
For me, the best part of this shake isn’t that it tastes like mint chocolate — I mean, that is a bonus, of course. But the best part is that it packs a crazy nutritional punch. I can enjoy it after a hard workout and not feel one ounce of guilt. It’s packed with protein and fiber, and I never get a sugar spike from Quest Bars.
Visit your local Target and pick up a box of Quest Protein Bars and see for yourself! After you enjoy a bar or two, I highly recommend trying them in a shake.

I would definitely go for the mint chocolate quest bars! Ive actually never tried one, but all these posts have made me curious. I love the idea of using one in a shake!
I’ve enjoyed them!
Looks like a tasty shake! I’ve tried several different flavors of Quest bars. My favorite is probably double chocolate chunk and the oatmeal chocolate chip is pretty good too.
Double chocolate chunk was a contender!
Yum, yum and YUM! I can almost taste this shake as I sit here drooling!
Haha, I will take that as a compliment!
I’ve never had a Quest bar (they have whey in them) but the energy bar Marley has gotten super delicious lately. Right now I’m loving these Glo Raw bars in the caramel, sea salt and chocolate flavor. Super good and if I don’t have some other type of cookie or brownie for dessert, one of these with some PB on top is my favorite!
Caramel, sea salt, and chocolate sounds like an amazing ice cream flavor! ?
I love smoothies and shakes! This receipe looks great – I would never think of incorporating a quest bar into a smoohie.
I can find a way to get anything into a smoothie. ?
Ooh love the idea of making these bars into a shake-yum
The chocolate mint makes it amazing
Holy moley this looks good! What a great idea…Hmmmmm….
It’s pretty delicious if I do say so myself. And I do. 😉
I’m always down with anything chocolate – this looks delicious!
Chocolate wins everything, no doubt.
I definitely have a sweet tooth! I did try Quest Bars once, and they were a little too sweet for me, but I wonder if I tried them by sprinkling them in a shake or eating a little less of it maybe I would like it? This shake looks really really good too!
I can eat half of one and be good. But in the shake… omg… it’s amazing! Definitely not too sweet there.
Looks like a great shake! I keep seeing Quest bars popping up everywhere. I haven’t had them in years but wasn’t a fan of them, my tummy didn’t like them, when I had tried them. Have they changed them?
These look yummy! It’s been fun seeing all of these recipes for Quest bars…I need to find them in a store 😉
I bet your local Target has them ?
This sounds so good! The White Chocolate Raspberry used to be my favorite.
I almost chose that flavor! It looked delicious!
i have heard a lot about quest but never tried it.
I enjoy them!
That is a great idea! I never thought of the idea of adding a bar to the smoothie- sweet!
I’m kind of a smoothie junkie so I can find ways to put anything in a smoothie!
Mint Chocolate is definitely one of my favorite flavors. Love the smoothie recipe!
I love mint chocolate. Ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies… 🙂
Who knew you could do so much with Quest bars!
They’re really versatile!
I need to try a different flavor Quest bar. The one I tried looks like an Oreo cookie and in a blue box. It tasted like chalk to me! Lol! They are hard to find where I live!
Haha, that’s the cookies and cream one. The mint chocolate is really good. My friend tried the chocolate brownie today and said it was amazing.
There are so many delicious flavors to choose from! The White Chocolate Raspberry caught my eye first.
I *almost* got that one! Next time 🙂
