5 Ways Momentum Jewelry Will Keep you Moving Forward

March 17, 2017

Happy Friday, Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and welcome back to another edition of the Friday Five 2.0 linkup. Join your hosts (Fairytales and Fitness and me!) every week for a fun linkup. April’s topics have been posted — please check them out.

Are you celebrating St. Patrick’s Day today? I’m not. I did my St. Patty’s celebrating last weekend at the Kiss Me I’m a Runner 10K. I’ll be “celebrating” by going to bed early in preparation for my 18 mile long run on Saturday. Exciting stuff here!

This week’s topic for the Friday Five 2.0 is “Spring Workouts.” Not much is changing for me in terms of my own workouts — I’m still running all the miles and doing a mix of speed, easy, and long running. I have a 5K training group getting ready for the Cleveland Marathon 5K in May. Interested in joining a 5K training group? Click here to fill out the form for the next one! I could throw together a few spring training workouts to fit the topic, but honestly I really want to talk about something else today. I’m going rogue!

Momentum Jewelry has something for everyone. It's truly motivational and athletically-inspired, which means you can wear it during all your workouts! -Running on Happy

I’m pleased to announce I’ve officially been selected as a Momentum Ambassador! I am really excited about this for a bunch of reasons. Momentum is an amazing brand and creates such wonderful, quality pieces. I want to share with you what makes Momentum Jewelry so great.

5 Ways Momentum Jewelry Will Keep you Moving Forward

1. I was one of the first bloggers to review Momentum Jewelry

Back in the day (heeeey 2014!) I was among the first chosen bloggers to review this new brand called Momentum. It was really cool stuff, too. Wearable motivation. Who thought of that?! At the time, there really weren’t a whole lot of others offering this type of inspiration. Ever since that first piece of jewelry I received for review, I’ve been smitten. Fun fact: the motivate wrap I received is still my favorite piece to wear.

2. A mantra on your wrist

There’s a lot to be said for having wearable motivation. You can wear it on your wrist, on your feet (hellloooo, FootNotes), or around your neck. Having a constant reminder of how badass you are or how you’ve overcome adversity can be a big confidence booster when you need it most.

3. Great gifts for all!

Momentum offers something for everyone. There are tons of sayings to choose from and you can even create your own. And it’s not jewelry just for women. There are lots of pieces that are wonderful for men. And guess what? You don’t have to be an athlete to wear them, either. There are so many options. Different sayings, different ways to wear, even the colors of bands change. It’s customizable and affordable. Truly the perfect gift. If you’re looking for something with a bit more sparkle that you can give alongside this piece of jewelry, you can browse products from Adina’s line, and see what they have.

4. Athletically inspired for your workouts

Some jewelry is impossible to wear during a workout. It’s one of the reasons I switched from a traditional wedding ring to my silicone wedding band. But Momentum jewelry is not that. It’s made for athletes which means they know we’ll be wearing it to get sweaty.

5. A company that gives back

Aside from all the awesome jewelry Momentum creates, there’s one more thing that makes this company stand out to me. Momentum gives a portion of their profits to a couple of organizations — Girls on the Run as well as Action for Healthy Kids. These are two wonderful organizations that are so deserving of funding, volunteer work, and community support. I love that Momentum gives to these organizations.

If you’re in the market for a gift, if you’re looking for a little bit of motivation on your next run or during your next hard workout, or if you’ve never heard of Momentum and would like to know more, I highly recommend checking out this super company.

Have a fantastic weekend, friends. If you’re out celebrating St. Patty’s tonight, have a blast! And be safe. And try not to drink too much green stuff — there’s a lot of sh!t in there. Ick. Yeah, that’s the mom in me coming out.

Happy weekend!
