Product Review: CORE Organic

May 5, 2016

I just mentioned yesterday how important hydration is for a successful run. But what happens if you’re just not a water guzzler and it’s hard for you to stay hydrated? You turn to sports drinks, fruit juices, and other ways to get your fluids.

Unfortunately sports drinks, juices, and other beverages can be loaded with sugar and other unnecessary stuff. When I was pregnant with my son I really needed a lot more water, and as much as I love water, I got tired of it so I turned to one of those powdered drink mixes. It was full of chemicals, sodium, and all sorts of icky stuff.

This post is sponsored by CORE Organic. All reviews and opinions are my own.

CORE Organic Fruit Infused Beverage

Luckily there’s a fabulous product now available called CORE Organic. It’s a fruit infused beverage. It only has 5 calories per serving, lots of antioxidants, and it’s very flavorful. CORE Organic is non-GMO, organic and vegan. I can easily recognize and pronounce every item in the ingredient list. What it’s not full of is synthetic flavoring, tons of unnecessary sugar, and lots of calories.

My most recent love affair with CORE Organic was when I was sick last week. I knew I needed to be loading up on clear fluids to help my body fight infection, but for some reason water just doesn’t do it for me when I’m sick. Fortunately I had a few bottles of Core Organic on hand and happily guzzled it throughout the day — for about three days straight. It was tasty and kept my hydration needs in check.

My kids also love it. We’re a “no juice” family. (Gosh that sounds like we’re the world’s meanest parents…) We don’t buy it and we don’t go out of our way to give it to our kids. If there’s juice at a party we don’t say no, but it’s certainly not our first choice of beverage for our children. CORE Organic is different. I don’t feel guilty giving it to my kids. It’s that good!

A bottle of CORE Organic is particularly refreshing after a hot run in the sun.

Bottom line — would I recommend CORE Organic to friends, family, and clients? Heck to the yes. It’s delicious, low calorie, organic, non-GMO, and a great way to get in some extra hydration without feeling like you’re drowning yourself with water. I love this stuff!
