WHOOP! What a weekend! I have so much to tell you guys. First, take a look around. If this is your first time here you won’t notice anything. But if you’ve been with me for a while, you should notice a change. I successfully migrated to my new site! Whatdya think? I still have to go back and make sure all the links work which will definitely take some time, but for the most part — here I am! It was a ridiculous process and I never recommend anyone doing this. Ever. I’m exhausted. I’m running on no sleep today. Should be fun!
Today is Meatless Monday, though, and I’ve got an amazing recipe for you today! Let me begin by saying, Happy February! Let’s stop and appreciate (and ogle) the fact that it’s already February. This winter season has flown by. I know many of you are sad to have missed a beautiful white winter, but for people like me, who loathe cold weather, this has been amazing! Now, whether you’re a hopeless romantic or a Valentine’s naysayer, there’s no arguing that February is the sweetest month of the year. Thankfully for us chocolate-lovers there is indeed an entire first half of a month devoted entirely to love and culinary confections.

Nektar Naturals sent me a sample of delectable dark chocolate covered pretzels with a sprinkling of honey crystals. As soon as I received them I knew what I had to do. I made a dessert smoothie. Oh yes, I did.
The flavor of strawberries and raspberries pair well with chocolate, as is evidenced by the years and years and millions of desserts centered around chocolate and red fruits. Plus they sure do make a pretty looking smoothie for Valentine’s Day!
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Nektar Naturals is offering a FREE honeygram to send to your sweetie! You get to send a sweet note to someone on your ‘nice’ list (wrong holiday? meh, whatevs), and they get a sampler packet of Netkar Naturals honey crystals! It’s a win-win, for sure.
Valentine’s Day may not be loved by all, but I won’t tell anyone if you decide to make this delicious dessert smoothie in the summer, either. Shhhh…
