Running Books, A Website, and Disney on Ice: Thinking Out Loud

January 21, 2016
I’m linking up with Amanda today for Thinking Out Loud. Usually I have a plan of what I’m gonna write up for my blog post. This time? I don’t! It’s both freeing and nerve racking. Here goes…
I’m working on several projects as we speak and I gotta tell ya — my head is spinning! I’m in the middle of a website revamp. This alone has been one of my biggest stressors over the last week. Let’s face it. I have no idea what I’m doing. Which wouldn’t be so bad but…
I’m in the process of taking on a few new running clients and I need to be there for them. They’re my number two priority right now — behind keeping my family fed and alive, of course. I’m also creating new spreadsheets to keep said clients and their training plans organized. And since knowledge is power…
I’m reading four books about running. Why? One is for pleasure. The other three are brain food. And I’m soon to be reading a fifth one, recommended to me by my physician. They’re interesting but sometimes…

It’s good to take a step back. I convinced my husband we should take the kids to see Disney on Ice a couple weeks ago. Expensive but totally worth it. I can’t wait to go back to WDW with my little people. Their heads will explode. In a good way, of course. All the kid stuff though makes me…
Appreciate that my husband and I finally went to see the Hunger Games over the weekend. I can’t believe we waited this long! I was a little disappointed with the end because it’s not at all how I pictured it when I read the book, but it’ll do. I originally read it for book club a couple years ago. Speaking of which, I’m looking forward to my next book club…
Because we go out for awesome nights like half price hibachi! YUM! Which is kind of a bummer that I can’t run as much because now I feel like I can’t eat like I had been. Which might be a good thing… ?
I’ve been keeping up with my non-running workouts and I’m exhausted. I’m taking a rest day today but I’ll be back at it on Friday. I think cycling might be more exhausting than running. Is that possible? Perhaps.

TALK TO ME!

What’s the most recent movie you’ve seen in the theater? Thumbs up or down?
