Five Great Things That Just Happened [Friday Five]

January 1, 2016
Happy 2016!! What a fun week it’s been. I’ve loved looking through old photos and reliving some awesome memories from 2015. I just created a new folder in my blog folder for 2016. It’s empty! I can’t believe it. Starting fresh and new. No clogged up folder full of files and photos. I love a clean slate.
Last night my husband and I hosted a really fun New Year’s Eve party. It felt like old times. Ya know, pre-kids and whatnot. Ah, the glory days of being young! Some of our favorite friends came over and we had a blast. Here are five great things that have happened in the last two days — check ’em out!
I became a Cleveland Marathon ambassador.
More on this later. But yay! I’m still deciding which distance for this one, but I’m looking forward to representin’ the CLE. Whoop!
Two of my faves signed up for the Cleveland half marathon!
And no, their decision was not at all influenced by alcohol. It was influenced by the price increase!

Who just signed up for the Cleveland half? These girls!
My husband and I threw a really fun NYE party and our kids went to bed on time.
It was a New Year’s Eve miracle!
Cheers to 2016!
We had an awesome NYE spread.
Our friends rock. When we say something’s potluck, they always come with the best food ever.
I’m not hungover.
I took advantage of not having to drive anywhere or rush home to relieve a babysitter of her duties. So yeah, I drank. And I’m not hungover! Sleeping in would have been awesome, but one out of two ain’t bad. I drank like I was 19 again. The only difference being I didn’t have to use a legit fake id to get my alcohol this time around!
And for those of you who are hungover, grab yourself some SOS!
Happy New Year, everyone! Have a wonderful weekend. I’ll catch you guys on Monday!
