This post is sponsored by Mighty Nut. As always, all thoughts, opinions, and reviews are my own. Carry on!
Most of you know by now that I have a hankering for sweets. This list includes, and is no way limited to: chocolate, peanut butter, candy, pie, yogurt, fruits, and pretty much all desserts. We also go through a solid supply of peanut butter in my household on a weekly basis. The one problem I have with traditional peanut butter is the oil. Sometimes it’s mixed in really well, other times, notsomuch. Another issue I take with traditional peanut butter is the fat and caloric content from said oil.
Enter Mighty Nut. Mighty Nut peanut butter is a powdered peanut butter. This means no oil, which means less fat calories, less fat, and equal protein. Peanut butter in powdered form is also great for making shakes and smoothies. (And baking. But we don’t have to talk about that here. Unless you want to… because dessert…)
Let me tell you a little more about Mighty Nut. Mighty Nut is not organic but is non-GMO verified. It comes in four flavors: original, flax and chia, chocolate, and vanilla. Mighty Nut is made in the USA with USA peanuts. It’s gluten-free, and is super easy to use as a peanut butter or in any dish for baking and cooking. (The possibilities are endless!)
I actually tried to make a frosting out of Mighty Nut and I ran out of patience. It tasted so darn good, but my kids were driving me batty and I couldn’t concentrate. So I scrapped the frosting idea and we ate it as a dip. Which was supremely tasty. I’ll include the recipe for that at the end.
The recipe I did end up successfully making was made with my husband in mind. He’s the true peanut butter aficionado in our family. He puts peanut butter on just about everything. Anything? No, everything. Chips? Yes. Grilled peanut butter and jelly? Of course. Toast? Indeed. Cookies? Yeah. Crackers? Duh. Every smoothie he’s ever made? Pretty much. Plus he’s really big into recovery shakes after he works out. So a peanut butter smoothie was a no brainer for me to make.
I kept the shake recipe simple. And sweet. Possibly too sweet if you don’t have a sweet tooth. You’ll see that it calls for vanilla Greek yogurt. If the vanilla is too sweet for you, feel free to swap it out with plain and add a drizzle of honey. But I like sweet so this was the perfect combo for me. What about for him? He loved it! I totally won wife of the year based on his love of peanut butter, bananas, and smoothies. Bon apetit!

And for those of you with a wicked sweet tooth like me, I wouldn’t leave ya hangin’ without this recipe!
Mighty Nut Peanut Butter Coconut Dip

- 2 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 C coconut milk

So! Bottom line — would I recommend Mighty Nut powdered peanut butter to friends, family, and my athletes? Absolutely. It’s a simple — and tasty — way to get all the benefits of peanut butter without the added gut-twisting oils. Great for recovery and easy to bake with and combine with other foods to make it just the way you like it.
