Product Review: Link Laces

March 25, 2015
This post is sponsored by Link Laces. All reviews and opinions are my own.
I had the privilege to try out a new product called Link Laces! I’m sure many of you have heard of, or seen ads for, similar items. There are a bunch out there. The elastic no-tie laces. It turns out my husband was stoked to try them out. As such, I handed the reins over to him for this one. So technically, this is a dual review.
A little background on my husband: he doesn’t run nearly as much as I do, but he does run quite a bit. He prefers the gym so he can work out with weights after he runs. He’s also picky — not in a bad way. Apparently he really does not like lacing shoes! Link Laces and my husband? A match made in running-shoe heaven.
When I received the laces, I laced them through my husband’s shoes. Although the packaged product looked intimidating, it was actually quite easy to do. And once they were on, it was like tying shoes was a thing of the past!

So what happened when my husband sported them to the gym? He loved them. He came home and told me all about them: How there are no stress points like with other laces. They stayed tight the whole time he was running and working out. And how much he really loathes traditional laces! The only negative thing he had to say was that he felt he looked dorky — like an old-timer who can’t tie shoes. (This is the same guy who only wears navy, gray, and black because he doesn’t like to attract attention. I, on the other hand, like the brightest and loudest shoes and apparel I can find. What can I say? Opposites attract.) No-tie laces are quickly gaining traction in the athletic world, so I’m sure no one even noticed them.
Bottom line — when I asked him if he would recommend Link Laces to family, friends, and fellow athletes? He responded with a resounding YES.

There you have it, friends. Link Laces for the win!
