Latkes, Latkes, Latkes!

December 18, 2014
I finally ran! It was a slow and painful 3 miler, but I did it. I didn’t have much hope for this particular run, but I knew it needed to be done. I started out at a nice 10 min/mi pace, and targeted 6:1 run/walk intervals. It was tough, I’m not gonna lie. My legs were oddly out of sorts, and I was very worried about my breathing (I’ve been hacking up a lung for the last few days while my body clears out the remaining crud). But I stuck it out and I felt amaaaaazing afterward. I’m very much looking forward to my next run.
Chanukah Day 2 was filled with latkes and Christmas candies. I couldn’t have had a better diet had I tried. Evidence:

In all fairness, I made these holiday candies for a holiday party so it’s not like I’m going to sit here and gorge myself on the two tupperwares-full… though I wouldn’t put it past me. Good thing I have to be responsible and share them. 🙂
Happy Day!
xo
How’s your eating thus far into the holiday season?
Staying on track or completely derailed?
