Fitness Friday: Tiara W.

December 19, 2014
The holidays are officially upon us. T-minus 6 days until Christmas, and 13 days until the New Year. I’ve already eaten my weight in latkes, chocolate, and peanut butter. I’m not role model for healthy eating at this point. And I haven’t even baked any cookies yet! Ah, the humanity! I digress…
Today is Fitness Friday, and we’re going to hear from Tiara of Ice Cream and French Fries. Why does unhealthy eating seem to be my theme today? But alas, it is not. She’s a fit mama so don’t let her blog title fool you.

What is your favorite fitness day/activity?

Depends on
the day, season, indoor or outdoor. Right now it’s mainly spin and crossfit.

Why do you choose to stay fit?
Makes me
feel good and helps mange my stress levels.

Aside from physical exercise, what other ways
do you incorporate healthy choices into your life?
I try to
eat clean 90% of the time.

How have you dealt with any setbacks that have prevented you from working out, staying in
shape, or eating healthily?
I’m
pregnant so I can’t push myself the way I was. I’m learning how to modify.

What advice do you have for someone just
beginning their journey into healthy living and/or exercising?
Slow and
steady, listen to you body and focus on technique/form first.

Congratulations to Tiara, soon-to-be mama! Want to follow Tiara? Check her out on Facebook and Twitter.
Any big plans for the weekend? Who’s going to attempt any last minute shopping? (Not me!)
We are hopefully taking the kids to see Glow at the Cleveland Botanical Garden as well as a holiday show at the infamous Tower City downtown (they filmed A Christmas Story there many moons ago). Should be a fun and exhausting time. 😉
Happy weekend!
xo
