Birthdays and Rainy Days

June 19, 2014

Our grass is so thirsty. Thankfully it has been raining since last night. But that means I didn’t get to run this morning. Wah! Never in my life would I think I would be upset that I couldn’t run outside. My how times have changed.
Little Bee’s 1st birthday is coming up. I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since she entered our lives. She’s so sweet and quiet. I’m sure as she grows she will find her voice and be a fiery contender against Boo’s shenanigans. But for now, I relish in her sweetness.
Their first picture together! It’s been almost a YEAR?!?!
Gift-giving for the second or subsequent children is tricky. We already own so many toys and books, and we’ve gotten a ton of clothes as hand-me-downs. Every time she gets something of her own, she doesn’t care much for it because she has all of Boo’s big boy toys to play with, which are much cooler than her girly baby toys. 😉 I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve but nothing set in stone.
What else has been going on today? Oh, not much. Lazing around since it looks like death outside. Watching the boob tube. Snackin’. I’m debating taking the kids out to the store to peruse potential gifts for Button, but I’m thinking I might be too lazy today.
Rain, rain, go away! Don’t come back because we need to PLAY today!!!!
