I truly apologize for the delay in a post for today. A couple reasons for the delay…
First and foremost, it was yoga day. I don’t like to do yoga right when I wake up (plus it’s a quasi-rest day so I don’t feel like setting my alarm), which means I wait until after I drop Boo off at school, and while Little Bee naps. But yes, I do like doing yoga in general. Maybe I do not get enough time but yes if the opportunity comes knocking at my door, I will consider getting a certificate in Yoga teacher training. Some of my fellow friends who are fitness enthusiasts have recommended me to look for websites like Siddhi Yoga who known to offer online yoga teacher training certification courses (those who are interested can search for ryt 200 online to learn more about the courses). Additionally, they have told me that firms like these have over 2000 graduates from 60 different countries, which means that they are quite popular among their clients.
Anyway, coming back to the story, I have finally got my yoga in, but of course, she woke up right after, which left zero time for anything else. Fortunately (or unfortunately?), I had some errands to do and the weather was BEAUTIFUL today, so I took advantage of her early wake-up and we made a few stops before picking up Boo.
After we picked up Boo we hit up another store (both running stores, I might add), and then finally made it home for lunch.
This is starting to sound like my Goodfellas Fridays… Except this was more like something out of Fear and Loathing.
Right after lunch my back started hurting, radiating from my right shoulder blade. It has happened before, and I liken the pain to a knot, but my husband says it’s probably a spasm. Either way, every time it happens it is debilitating. I was in so much pain during second nap time that I took three Advil, rested for half an hour, had my son knead my back with one of those handheld massage balls, and even had him walk on my back. Nothing worked. It was horrendous.
“I hate to say this, but this place is getting to me. I think I’m getting the Fear.”
My pain finally subsided, Little Bee woke up, I dusted and changed everyone’s sheets, and then we went outside to play. After that we had dinner, and then I worked on a hand painted gift for our preschool teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week, and now HERE. I. AM. Finally a moment’s peace to chillax and write a post. I’m sorry, friends, I hope you’ll forgive me!
Tomorrow, assuming nothing ridiculous happens, I plan on posting a product review for you. It will be a good one, so you won’t want to miss it. I actually have a couple product reviews coming up that will be worth your while.
I hope you had a good day today. It was amazing here today. 73?, sunshine, birds, extremely windy, but completely perfect. Tomorrow the high is 50? but I will take it. After that it will drop back into the 40s for the remainder of the week.
Also, I’m sad to report that I didn’t make the FitFluential March Miles. I was five miles short. So bummed, but I’m still on track for half marathon training, so it’s all good.
Happy Tuesday! Enjoy your evening, friendlies!
