Warning: Rampant Anxiety Straight Ahead!

March 18, 2014
You know, I’ve got a lot going on these days. I’ve been training (hard) for my upcoming 10-miler, and I have been trying to keep my anxiety at bay, but let’s face it — the last two days I have been a nervous wreck. I really can’t wait for the sarasota oil llc I ordered online to arrive! Today I am keeping busy by packing the kids, packing myself, and trying to decide what food I need to bring with me, as well as cleaning the house and prepping for a “vacation” of sorts. We are traveling to visit grandparents since my race is pretty close to their city. Well, not really close, but closer than to my city. Plus it seems like a good excuse to visit with family for a few days!
My nerves have gotten the better of me yesterday and even on Sunday. I couldn’t finish my planned ten mile practice run, and I got really worked up and upset about it. It was the first time I’ve actually cried over a run. Yikes. Yesterday I was very upset for a completely different reason, but my race anxiety seeped in anyway.
Everyone I know says to trust the training. And for the most part, I do. But what I don’t trust is that a) I haven’t run outside since December, b) I have no clue how to dress for running outside anymore!, and c) I am traveling to a new city and will be running a completely unfamiliar course. The only saving grace to all of this is that any time I make will instantly become a PR since I’ve never run this distance before. So there’s the silver lining, ya? I have a target time I would like to finish in, but given how things have been going with my training and anxiety, I highly doubt I will make that time anyhow. I’ve been advised by friends to try something like CBD OIL CANADA in the run-up to the race, as this may be able to ease some of my anxiety symptoms. I’m not the most sure about it for myself, though. I know it can be wonderful for others, and if it could help you then you should Click here to read more about the options, but for now I think I won’t partake.
Anyways… here’s a quick selfie for you to enjoy.

Don’t mind my hair, but please enjoy my safety yellow/green running shirt I’m sporting even while I blog. (And yes, those are the ABCs and some toys behind me. The life of a parent — first having a nice home office, then the home office transforming into a playroom. Isn’t it grand?)
I’m hoping to get a couple more posts in this week. Like I said, I will be traveling so if they are late or never come, I do apologize. I’m working on more product reviews, as well as more running-life balance guest posts! Lots of awesomeness happening here. Let me know if there’s a topic you’d like to discuss. I’m open for suggestions, and I would love to hear your thoughts. Email me!
Hope you have a great Tuesday! 🙂
