Me.

November 17, 2011
I’ve done it again, folks. This time it took less than a month before I pissed someone off again. Oh well. C’est la vie.
Which brings me to my next point. This is “A Day in the Life…” Meaning a day in my life. Not in yours. If this were a day in your life, your name would be in the url. But it’s not. If what I write pisses you off, keep it to yourself. Or god forbid use the comment box at the end of each post. But please do not text message me, email me, Facebook message me, or write on my wall or comment on my links with nasty messages. Those are inappropriate avenues to vent your frustration.
I am not here to offend anyone. I am here to tell the stories of my life as they happen. If I am anxious about Thanksgiving, so be it. If I got pissed off because I had a bad run two days ago, fine. What do you care? I don’t judge you, so please don’t judge me. Just because you don’t agree with what I have to say does not mean that I am wrong. Just because I got under your skin doesn’t mean you should intentionally get under mine.
The best advice I can give you, my readers, is this:

“The greatest remedy for anger is delay.”

~ Seneca

If I have somehow angered you, or upset you, or irritated you, please. Take a moment to reflect on what I’ve said. Have I personally attacked you? Have I libeled you on the internet? Have I publicly displayed any of your private life so that other readers might know who you are?
More often than not, the answer here is no. I have never, and will  never, do any of those above things.
I understand that a lot of what I post is sensitive material. But who is it sensitive to? Me. Yes, me. I am selfish, sure. But again, my name in the url, not yours. This is my space to be selfish and this is my space to tell tales of my life.
Maybe I’m just too honest for some of you. Or maybe I’m just a great storyteller. No one will ever really know.
Either way, thank you for reading.
